By Ray Garrison, Eric Noreen and Peter Brewer
  • I classify this book as an excellent introduction to managerial accounting, ideally for a semester-length course. The information is presented in a format that discusses the basics and allows the student to understand the most current and relevant topics. A must-read for all CMA candidates.
  • This is one of the recommended textbook for the Managerial Accounting course at GWU. The book is very well written, structured and a must read textbook to understand managerial accounting. I will be keeping this book for the future reference. The author has done a fantastic job in explaining the concepts and by having lot of review problems. The author has also provided a lot of information online

anyone can understand the concepts by just going through the video library. I would rate this book as one of the top 5 books in my MBA program.
  • I had to buy this book for my Managerial Accounting Class. The Book taught me well. My suggestion is that they should include more and varied examples for each application. The Problems in the back of the chapter were often difficult and time consuming because the text did not contain these teaching examples.
